STEP 1: COMPLETING THE APPLICATION

  1. All students interested in enrolling at GateWay Early College High School, must complete an application form. Application packets can be obtained by contacting the Early College office at 602-286-8759 or by downloading and completing the enrollment forms listed below.  These are available in both English and Spanish.
  2. It is important that you complete ALL parts of the appilcation and that you have your parent/guardian read and sign the application. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

STEP 2: INTERVIEW WITH COUNSELOR

  1. Call 602-286-8759 to schedule an appointment with the Early College counselor. Students and parents/guardians will be asked a series of questions related to the students' involvement in and commitment to Early College. Interviews take approximately 15 minutes.
  2. Please bring the following to your appointment:
    1. your COMPLETE application
    2. transcripts or certificate of 8th grade promotion
    3. birth certificate
    4. immunization records.

If you are under 18, your parent/guardian must accompany you to this appointment.

STEP 3: STUDENT AND PARENT/GUARDIAN TOURS OF GATEWAY FACILITIES (optional)

Prospective GateWay Early College High School students, parents, and guardians are welcome to tour the facilities. Call the Early College office at 602-286-8759 for more information.

GateWay Early College High School does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, or disability. GateWay Early College High School  will ensure that all  students with disabilities have the right to a free appropriate public education (FAPE).

GateWay Early College High School enrolls students on a first come first served basis under the following guidelines:

  • In accordance with ARS 15-184, GWECHS enrolls all eligible pupils who submit a timely application unless the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of a program, class, grade level or building. In accordance with the school's charter, there will be no more than 100 students per grade level. Enrollment application packets must be fully completed and on file in the office before parents/students can sign the application waiting list.
  • Siblings of students already attending the school, and children of faculty and staff have the first right of refusal for openings.
